The April May Issue Available Now

Thanks for stopping by Motorcycles: On The Road Again website. We hope that you enjoy reading articles from our past issues and that you will subscribe to the magazine. Get your own copy delivered right to your mailbox and read about places that you might like to visit. The April/May issue will be avaialable online soon after the June/July issue is released.

In April/May read about some of the awesome rides in the Ozarks – where even a wrong turn leads to some great riding! This entire northwest corner of Arkansas seems to have been created with motorcycling in mind. You will find Harrison is a really outstanding place to base out of for several days of “hub & spoke” riding right in the heart of the Ozarks. Harrison, not a big touristy, party town is subdued and relaxing. The people are wonderful, the food outstanding and the riding is exciting.

A little further east a visit to Eureka Springs is a mini-trip to San Francisco. Eureka Springs has some of the steepest roads that I have ever driven on, the entire town is sort of glued to the side of a mountain. Make sure your legs are in shape for some serious walking when you tour (shop) Eureka Springs. Park at the bottom and walk up – makes it easier to get back to your bike when you get tired.

Elsewhere in the April/May issue revisit Moab, Utah for another suggestion of some fun riding roads. Follow the Sun to San Carlos, Mexico with Tom and Lynn Matthews. After being snowbound all winter their trip to San Carlos was a welcome opportunity to thaw out and have an exciting trip south of the border.

A brief article will introduce to our latest new featured area – Arizona. In the future issues you can “Experience Arizona” with a continuing series of articles. Galveston is revisited for more “Experience” suggestions. Hungry? The feature on Chicken Fried Steak will have you heading for the nearest truckstop to enjoy one yourself.

The music of Montgomery Gentry has rapidly grown in popularity with the motorcycle crowd, read “Music Notes” to understand why.

Tour Colorado on a special trip with our staff and Turkey Creek Tours June 30th to July 5th. Details and prices can be found on the Turkey Creek Tours website. (http://www.turkeycreektours.com/high_road.shtml)
